To ensure access to healthcare coverage is available to all New Mexicans, the New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) has partnered with BeWell NM to host a series of Virtual Healthcare Enrollment Events. These Virtual Enrollment Events will provide an overview of HSD’s public assistance programs and give information on how to apply for benefits. Application assistance at the events will be provided by state-certified Presumptive Eligibility Determiners (PEDs). HSD and BeWell NM staff will also be available to assist individuals complete an application and answer eligibility, enrollment and healthcare coverage questions.

At this link, you can pre-register for any of four upcoming events. During the events, HSD will also have Presumptive Eligibility Determiners (PEDs) standing by to help event attendees complete and submit applications. Anyone wishing to complete applications will be matched with a PED who will help with the process right away. If anyone who would like to apply but does not have time to do so following the event, HSD will send an email introduction to both the client and the PED.
