COVID-19 Information

COVID-19 is evolving quickly, and we must do what we can to prevent its spread.  The health and safety of our volunteers, partners, and the broader brain injury community is our priority, and we are closely monitoring updates.

Please be advised that people living with brain injury are 11 times more likely to die from infection than the general population and six times more likely to die from pneumonia. It is  extremely important to follow stay-at-home and social distancing guidelines and to wear masks and gloves if you must go out of your home for groceries or prescriptions. If at all possible, enlist a friend or family member to run errands for you.

We are working remotely, holding support group meetings online, and trying to ensure minimal disruption.  We will continue to advocate for legislation that benefits individuals with brain injury,  educate the public and professionals to improve the quality of care, and help support those affected by chronic brain injury.

We have put together a list of various resources for COVID-19 and the brain injury community.  Please check back frequently, as this list is constantly growing.
